Hi there, my name is Samantha Weikers and I am currently studying Public Relations at Georgia Southern University. I am from the Atlanta area and have been raised there my whole life. I love my major for everything it stands for. I believe the art of communication is crucial to a healthy lifestyle and career. I have chosen PR because of how many directions the study can go in. I am also extremely open to going in the direction of marketing. I like to have choices and thankfully this major provides that. I have a passion for traveling and experiencing new cultures. I have been to over 10 different countries and this has inspired me to chose this direction of study. I love the idea of the unknown. Experiencing unfamiliar things has taught me so much about myself and has helped me grow with such a positive mindset. I am a firm believer in getting out of your comfort zone is how one grows and studying the art of communication has has assisted in that.
